In-Die Riveting is a process that creates riveted connections between multiple parts right inside the stamping die. Unlike traditional riveting, which requires moving parts to separate riveting equipment after stamping for additional positioning and pressing, In-Die Riveting builds the riveting unit directly into the die. The system sets up riveting stations within the die and uses the press slide’s motion to feed rivets or other metal components from the vibration plate into the strip layout. This creates strong mechanical interlocks and completes both the stamping and riveting assembly in a single operation.
